BARNARDO’S OPENS ON THE TRIANGLE – Volunteers wanted

BARNARDO’S are looking for extra volunteers following a low-key opening of ‘The Triangle’ premises behind Sainsbury’s.

There’s a shop, cafe and ‘Stay and Play’. Opening times are Wednesday and Thursday 9.30 am to 12 noon and 1pm to 3.30pm.

For ‘Stay and Play’ prices are babies six months to one year: £3 one year to eight years (first child) £5; second / third child £3.50.

The cafe will be selling coffee, hot and cold drinks, cakes and ‘child-friendly’ snacks, the shop will have ‘pre-loved’ childrens clothes and toys.

A post on their Facebook page says: “What a fantastic couple of weeks at Barnardo’s: The Triangle. “Thanks for all the lovely feedback and well done to our amazing staff and volunteers for doing such a great job.

“We want to extend our opening days so are putting out a call for additional volunteers.”
