MUMS IN CRYSTAL PALACE are holding a fund-raising event for Upper Norwood’s junior library this Friday (December 6th).
All profits from the event at Bar Twenty Five in Westow Hill will go towards a variety of items.
The mums have a Mum-O-Meter ‘wish list’ of the items which they hope to purchase depending on how much is raised:

£50 for baby books (called ‘board books’) – total needed: £50
- £50 for instruments for Waggle and Hum – total needed: £100
- £80 for a new activity cube for the library – total needed: £180
- £200 for the junior section of the library to be painted (including Crystal Palace Mums mural) – total needed : £380
- £200 for story sacks (three-dimensional stories for local nurseries and schools) – total needed: £580
- £200 for carpet cleaning, junior section of library – total needed: £780
- £400 towards redoing the toilet to include a baby changing table – total needed: £1180
Crystal Palace Mums, which is organising the event, promises an afternoon of festive fun and laughter provided by Hatchlings, Sing and Sign, MiniMagic and of course a Waggle and Hum session. Toddlers 0-4 allowed! Tickets from £5 each. These can be bought from www.facebook.com/cpmumsparty.
Raffle tickets will also be on sale.
Bar Twenty-Five is at 25-27 Westow Hill (just along from the library) BUT PLEASE avoid bringing a buggy to the event.
