If you bought wine in one of their bottles last time they will refund your deposit when you bring the bottle back, or you can just buy more wine to fill it up again;) Andrew has asked me to let you know they will start harvest with this year’s source of their own rosé grapes, on a parcel of old vine Gamay in Beaujolais on the 13th.
Kids & adults: Ceramicist Beth (from the Handmade Palace stall) is running pottery wheel throwing taster sessions – learn how to throw a small bowl. Beth will fire your bowl ready to pick up the market the following week. £5

Meat deal of the month: 20% off sirloin. This is a large cut, and as Jacob’s Ladder butcher one animal at a time, sometimes they have a surplus. Hence the continuing excellent deal.
Patchwork Farm: SE19+ grown pumpkin, squash, rhubarb, rocket salad, market salad, herbs, possibly tomatoes, beans, apples, plums if anyone brings any in. Also Imogen’s homemade jams, jellies and chutneys.

Brambletye Farm news: The berry season is coming to an end. Blackberries are still plentiful but only for jam with all the rain. Possibly the first of the new season pears, if we’re lucky. Stein from Brambletye says “The season keeps giving surprises.”
Gluten free/dairy free/yeast free from Elvira’s Secret Pantry: Cakes: courgette, figs and thyme, rhubarb and plum, nutty brownie, spiced apple, fruit tarts, jam tarts. Savouries: spinach and leek, asparagus, tomatoes and olives, mushrooms, mixed vegetables. Specialty bread. Sweet and savoury vegan treats also available.
