ATTEMPTED ROBBERY AT BARCLAYS

Police were called at 10. 42 a.m.on Tuesday 23 December, to reports of an attempted robbery at Barclay’s Bank in Westow Hill, SE19.

Officers attended the scene but the suspects had gone before police arrival.

Police believe that three men made their way to the location in a vehicle that was abandoned in the middle of the road. They entered the bank and fled on foot shortly afterwards heading in the direction towards Dulwich.

Officers from Lambeth are investigating. Enquires continue.
