LAMBETH COUNCIL EXPOSED AS BIGGEST LOCAL ‘FAT CATS’ – 32 officers on £100,000 or more
LAMBETH COUNCIL have been exposed as the biggest local ‘fat cats’ – with 32 officers currently getting salaries of £100,000 or more last year.
That figure appears to be 27 MORE than the number of Lambeth council officers who were on £100,000 or more in the 2012-13 financial year.
The figures, released by a national newspaper working in conjunction with the Taxpayers Alliance, cover every local authority from Aberdeen City to York.
They show that last year 24 officers in the five boroughs which converge on Crystal Palace are / were on salaries of £150,000 or more – compared to Prime Minister David Cameron’s annual salary of £142,500.
Top earners: Lambeth’s former chief executive Derrick Anderson (£226,545); Croydon’s chief executive Nathan Elvery (£203,580); Bromley’s chief executive Doug Patterson (£203,393) and Southwark’s chief executive Eleanor Kelly (£198,295);
