OVERGROUND FESTIVAL 2017 DATES ANNOUNCED
The dates for the 2017 Crystal Palace Overground Festival have been announced as 12 – 18 June.
In a circular to supporters, festival organisers say:
After a year off in preparation for the move of our park event to Crystal Palace Park, we return bigger and better than ever and we are looking forward to working with you all, ensuring that our festival continues to engage and inspire.
We cannot wait to welcome you all to Crystal Palace Park on 17 June 2017 and can reveal now that the festival site will be much bigger than Westow Park allowing us to create even more festival fun for you all!
We love Westow Park but we have simply outgrown it – our little community event we started back in 2006 has grown to attract over 6,000 visitors just to the park event!
Our new site will be able to accommodate 10,000 visitors easily so we look forward to welcoming more of our neighbours from across south London to the festival.
And as always we are really looking forward to working with our local traders, pubs, venues, artists, churches and community groups to help them create a whole week of festivities across Crystal Palace!
There are many ways to get involved in the festival and we respectfully ask if you can please register your interest through some short Expression of Interest forms as this will really help us manage our workload.
