Dulwich Winterlights
DULWICH PICTURE GALLERY
December 2016
Exhibitions
Adriaen van de Velde, Dutch Master of Landscape
The world’s first major exhibition devoted to one of the finest landscape artists of the Dutch Golden Age, Adriaen van de Velde (1636–1672). Bringing together 60 of his paintings and drawings, the show will offer not only a survey of the artist’s oeuvre but also a rare glimpse of a seventeenth century master at work.
12 October 2016 – 15 January 2017
Am I Rembrandt?
Explore how curators and conservators work together to investigate a painting’s authorship. X-ray and technical analysis of two paintings by Rembrandt – A Young Man, perhaps the Artist’s Son Titus, and the National Trust’s recently re-attributed Self-portrait wearing a White Feathered Bonnet – will demonstrate how stylistically different works can be attributed to the same artist.
8 November 2016 – 5 March 2017

Discuss, debate and have your say in creative sessions led by you!
This workshop provides an opportunity for young people to work with a professional artist and engage in lively discussions and debate that challenge perceptions of what galleries are and who they are for.
